BASIC FUNCTION:As part of M&T’s Information Security division, the Identity Management Staff Specialist will participate on project teams from requirements to definition phase through production implementation, providing requirements on appropriate security implementations. Work on technology projects and provide security requirements for implementation of new technologies. Provide identity and access management consulting on security standards and best practices to business functions. Research and management consulting on security standards and best practices to business functions. Research and recommend opportunities to enhance infrastructure security. Conduct risk and vulnerability, assessments, and assist with network architecture design. Interact with all levels of managements to ensure that security issues are addressed. Assess compliance with security policies and sound security practices.RESPONSIBILITIES:Assess current and new Internet security technology as it pertains to the Bank’s changing security needs. Recommend new technology, policies, or processes to benefit the organizations and improve deficiencies. Research and evaluate new security products and recommend with regard to business needs.Perform analysis of identity and access management requirements for web-based applications. Install, administer and support bank-wide deployments of CA eTrust® SiteMinder and IdentityManager product suites. Perform management, support and administration of Passlogix v-GO, a desktop-based single sign on product across Windows and Novell networks. Manage enterprise-wide deployment of authentication and authorization policies using Netegrity/CA SiteMinder and IdentityMinder. Perform management, support and administrations of Ping Identity’s PingFederate product, a server-based product that creates and manages SAML connections to Bank partners.Provide highly analytical consulting and research inputs on information security technologies to assist business units in meeting strategic objectives. Perform end-to-end technical risk assessments and exposure analyses of technologies, applications and vendor software for various e-commerce sites of the bank. Develop and maintain consistent metrics for information security initiatives and implement frameworks for ROI and TCO for information security initiatives and participation in bank-wide projects.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field, such as Information Systems or 5 years IS related experienceMinimum of two (2) years’ previous information security experienceMinimum of three (3) years’ practical experience in IT industry with software development/implementationProject management/Lead experienceExcellent verbal and communication skillsAbility to function professionally at many different levels (clients, managements, and peers)IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS:PM certification highly desiredCISSP and/or CISA desired. Other information security designations and certifications would be a plus Business management skills and experience consistent with an advanced degree in Business Administration or in Management Information Systems to develop metrics frameworks for ROI and TCO computations fro Information security initiatives and projects requiredResearch-oriented analytical skills
