We have an immediate need for a Junior Software Tester.
In this exciting role, you may perform one or more of the following: perform testing or quality control functions.
Maintain records of routine test results and observations.
Carries out routine experiments, studies and analyses.
This position is usually under direction of engineer.
Must have ability to: function in a lab or factory
environment; work independently and in a team situation;
work in changing environment and have good communication
skills.
Additional Desired Skills
Existing Quality Assurance / Software testing experience.
Ability to quickly learn new technical skills.
Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
Ability to accurately document issues found while testing.
Computer literate and functional with Microsoft Word and
Excel.
Experience with Lotus Notes would be helpful.
Understands different Windows-based Operating Systems (e.g.
Win XP, Win2000, Vista).
Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Attention to detail.
Good analytical skills.
Able to work in a team and individually.
Familiar with the process of installing/de-installing
software.
Be willing to work overtime if needed.
