Robert Half Technology is currently recruiting for a Sr. Oracle Database Analyst for a temp to hire opportunity at an advertising technology company in midtown. Our client is looking for a solid Oracle DBA with development experience using PL/SQL. This person will own their Oracle 10g database that supports their main adserving application that runs on J2EE.
This person will spend over 50% of their time as a DBA, and must be familiar with backup, restore, utilizing dataguard, clustering and overall database administration and maintenance processess and procedures.
Additionally, they will be responsible for PL/SQL querying, reports development, functionality additions and changes, scalability and database development.
Requirements include;
5+ years experience as an Oracle DBA with at least 2+ years experience in a 10G environment.
Strong PL/SQL skills
Experience supporting a Java based application ideally J2EE.
Experience working in a Unix/Linux environment.
Shell Scripting experience
