My client is a Marketing company that has an immediate need for multiple Unix and Linux systems administrators to join the team on a consulting basis. The Linux Systems Administrator will work in a multi server environment. This is a mixed Linux environment running Redhat, Suse, Apache, etc. The Linux Systems Administrator will configure, build and administer new servers for production and development environments. Additional functionality will include backups, storage logs, documentation and general server maintenance and support. The Unix Systems Administrator will interface with a talented systems administration team and will provide systems side support for these projects. This is a great environment and company to get involved with.<br><br>

Experience: <b><u><font color= "#3399CC">Skill sets required: </font color= "#3399CC"></u></b><br><ul>
<li> Experience managing/ administering a Unix/ Linux multi server environment.
<li> Must have experience with Redhat, SUSE, Apache.
<li> Ability to understand and troubleshoot Shell and PERL scripts.
<li> Experience using monitoring systems, source tools, backups and updates and routine maintenance.
<li> Packaging experience.
<li> Able to configure mail services including iMap, POP, SMTP, FTP, DNS.
<li> Datacenter administration experience.
<li> EMC and DB2 Clustering knowledge is a definite plus.
<li> Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related equivalent.
<li> Must have a good attitude and people skills to interact with other groups. Must be able to work independently.
