We have an immediate opening for a <b> Mac Desktop Administrator</b> with one of our best clients in Manhattan. The company is quickly growing and in need of someone with a well rounded technical background. Daily duties will be to provide onsite Mac support for desktops and Servers running<b> X Serv</b>. The ideal Support Administrator will have strong experience providing Desktop Support in both Windows and Mac Environments. The consultant must have experience configuring and troubleshooting issues with both OS X and XP <br><br> This position is both Desktop Support and some Systems Administration in a mixed Mac and Windows environment. The Mac and Windows Desktop Administrator must be able to support the infrastructure with little to no assistance. The Desktop Administrator will provide daily updates to the Managers in the California office. The company is quickly growing in a niche marketplace and is looking for someone to grow with it. This company is great to work for and has a very laid back atmosphere. We are looking for a professional that has excellent communication skills and can be trusted to work alone. Experience: <b><u><font color= "#3399CC">Skill sets required: </font color= "#3399CC"></u></b><br><ul>
<li>Able to <b>manage Mac OS X and Microsoft OS</b> environments <br>
<li>Must be able to and experienced in coordinate an upcoming office/ infrastructure move. <br>
<li>Experience migrating Server and Desktop systems to new applications / hardware.<br>
<li> Ability to provide network and Help Desk Support and Monitoring critical devices. <br>
<li>Experience with <b>Final Cut Pro</b> (or similar picture and video editing software) is a definite plus.<br>
<li><b>Must</b> be proactive and comfortable supporting desktop issues without assistance. <br>
<li>Experience providing phone and remote support.<br>
<li>Able to assist end users via phone and email support as well.<br>
<li>Supporting and maintaining a media library containing images. <br>
<li>Experience working for a start up will be highly considered.<br>
<li>Monitor system logs and activity on servers and devices.<br>
<li>Supporting <b>MS Office and Mac applications.</b><br>
<li>Coordinate with development team to schedule releases of software updates, patches, migrations.<br>
<li>Research new solutions and technologies to expand current technical infrastructure.<br> <br>
</ul>

<u>Certifications a plus but not required: </u><br>
&#149;A+, Net+, MCP<br>
&#149;MCSE<br>
&#149;MCSA <br>
&#149;Mac OS X/Mac OS X Server Essentials<br>
&#149;Apple Systems Service Certification<br>
