Reports to: Manager, Application DevelopmentSUMMARY. The Web Application Developer will have overall responsibility for working on a variety of projects primarily involved in maintaining existing web sites, requirements development, design and development, including creation of custom graphics. . Responsible for designing the user interface and overall customer experience for our web sites and applications. This includes overall navigation flow, layout of specific pages, and creation of individual graphic elements.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES. Responsible for design and maintenance of all Intranet and Extranet Web sites and other web based publications and applications.. Deals with preparation for web publishing of illustrative materials from artists and vendors.. Ensures that all design elements, templates and finished solutions work within a variety of browser types and screen settings along with the constraints set by development and design.. Works with marketing and development staff on style and approach for all projects.. Provides design elements, comps, templates, and finished solutions.. Participates in efforts to improve quality of Web sites and other electronic publications as required.
Experience: QUALIFICATIONS. Knowledge of HTML Web technologies and applications.. Knowledge of software including: Java, Dreamweaver, Rational Developer, Javascript, Shockwave, Macromedia Flash, and SQL.. 2-3 years of experience in Web-based application Development or equivalent education, B.A. or B.S. in Information Technologies and work experience.. Ability to coordinate with internal and external groups and work effectively in a team environment.. Excellent Written communication skillsSALARY. Salary will be based on experience in the range of $45-55K, including benefits, holiday, vacation, etc.HOW TO APPLY.
