DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Leads the IT Integration Team responsible for supplier integrations.
* Provides a high level interface between the IT Department and internal business customers to drive electronic commerce opportunities between client and their suppliers.
* Acts as IT contact for Suppliers who want to transact with the company via EDI, either directly or through an EDI marketplace.
* Addresses daily support issues for any supplier related issues/questions with urgency and ensures that resolutions are meant to solve the root of the problem.
* Meets with suppliers to determine suppliers' systems needs and creates Business Requirements Document (BRD) for the Internal IT Team. The IT will then develop the supplier' systems needs according the the BRD.
* Candidate will continue to interface with the supplier during systems integration to ensure supplier acceptance of the systems enhancements. Will act a Liaison between the Supplier and the IT team to resolve any systems issues.
* Actively participates in cross-functional team/task forces working closely with the user community applying an IT/Business perspective to identify and prioritize opportunities for improvement.
* Assesses problems and solutions from a business perspective with a focus on what the customer really needs. Supports and enhances existing systems, as well as developing new ones, defining business requirements, providing accurate estimates, creating/executing system test plans and training plans, creating user documentation and implementing and supporting high quality IT solutions. Liaises with and ensures that the IT Application Development team provides cost effective, high quality solutions to meet the defined business requirements. Mentors and coaches fellow Business Analysts and Application Analysts. Provides accurate time and cost estimates for proposed solutions and takes ownership of those estimates. Fosters the Client Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of Clients vision and unity of purpose. Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.
Required Skills
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
* Bachelor's degree or the equivalent years of business experience is required.
* Minimum of 5+ years formal system development experience is required.
SKILLS:
* EDI integration and mapping tool experience and XML Experience required (5 years).
* Business analyst with B2B experience required.
* Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication and project management skills are required.
* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects required.
* Project Management experience interfacing between external customers and internal technical team.
* Excellent leadership skills, experience being a leader, mentor, coach to fellow coworked or managed team.
MISCELLANEOUS: A valid driver's license is required.
