Pre and Post Sales position (4 positions): The Technical Sales specialist will provide product technical expertise, in the Pre Sales & Post Sales qualification cycle and is responsible for the delivery of the technical architectural design, strategies, and plans that will be delivered in the engagement. This Specialist assures a solution's technical feasibility, qualifies opportunities, understands customer business and technical environments, ensures successful installation and drives implementation planning. This position requires current implementation skills at the system administrative level using either Red Hat Linux or Solaris Unix. Successful candidate will have experience selling Back Up and Restore storage solutions applications (CommVault, VERITAS, Tivoli, Legato, NBU, etc). This position requires a complete understanding of the sales processes, techniques and tools in the discipline, which include, but are not limited to opportunity / territory management, availability management, network management, application development, cost justification, recovery services, and acquisition management. Successful candidate will have experience selling Back Up and Restore storage solutions applications (CommVault, VERITAS, Tivoli, Legato, NBU, etc).
