Genesis10 is seeking a proven C++/Java software developer to work on developing and enhancing the financial services applications for our client located in NYC on a full-time basis. In this role, you will work on multi-tier applications to expose both legal and financial data to research analysts. This includes integrating with existing systems, as well as the design and implementation of new data services.
Experience: Required Experience/Skills:
- Expert level software engineering experience in C++ and Java with experience in both on Unix/Linux.
- Distributed systems/multithreaded experience.
- Familiarity with relational database/ SQL development.
- Proficiency with scripting languages.
- Experience with Java Web Frameworks (Spring, Hibernate etc.).
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Experience/Skills:
- Experience with XML and Web services a plus.
