Genesis10 is seeking 3 Quantitative Developers for our major client located in New York City on a full-time basis. These positions are in the FX, Fixed Income, Equities, Interest Rates, Derivatives and Commodities areas.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively contribute hands-on to all phases of software engineering in a multi-programmer, multi-platform large scale real-time development environment.
- Provide correct solutions that contribute to the competitive advantage of our positioning in the markets we service.
- Know how to balance sophistication with the urgency of putting useful viable functionality in the hands of our clients.
- Service-oriented and makes time to discuss the needs of the various other groups, and to address them or to cause them to be addressed.
- An achiever, has strong inter-personal skills, is ready to mentor or get help as needed, maintains a backup, and makes sure that projects get done on time and with minimal risk.
Experience: Required Experience/Skills:
- PhD Degree in Math, Physics, Finance or Related Field.
- 5+ years hands-on C/C++ Numerical Methods Development on UNIX.
- Solid Understanding of Quant Software Engineering in a multi-platform, multi-programmer, large scale, real-time delivery environment.
- Solid Understanding of at least one financial product such as FX, Fixed Income, Equities, Commodities, Interest Rates, Derivatives etc.
