Genesis10 is seeking a Senior Developer at the AVP level for our client, a major investment bank, for their Global Technology group. This role is based out of NYC, NY and is a full-time opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Work as part of the futures front office technology team.
- Develop low latency trading platforms for dma and algorithmic trading to the futures exchanges globally (i.e. CME, TSE, OSE, Eurex, Liffe, etc-).
- Provide level 3 support for trading applications.
Experience: Required Experience/Skills:
- Computer Science/Engineering bachelors degree or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in a technology role.
- Excellent knowledge of Java; core programming skills will be tested.
- Some relational database and SQL experience required.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Experience/Skills:
- C# experience a strong plus.
- C++ a plus.
- Experience with FIX and trading applications a plus.
- Experience with Futures a plus.
