Duration: 6 months Skills: Miscellaneous .NET Yes 1 Intermediate 5-6 Within 2 Years 1 - 2 Years Protocols Java Yes 1 Intermediate 7-8 Within 2 Years 1 - 2 Years Additional Skills: Excellent fixed income analytical application development experience (5 years), xlnt communication skills, deep knowledge of fixed income securities data (market data, descriptive data, valuations). Analytics GUI Developer Minimum skills requirements " 10 years of analytical application design and development experience with a large financial institution, preferably an Institutional Asset Manager or Investment Bank " Bulk of experience should be with Fixed Income, and Fixed Income Derivative securities. " Direct Analysis and Implementation Experience should include one or more of the follow the following: o Applications for securities pricing and risk measurement o Applications used to determine hedge trades/strategies for books/portfolios o Multi-security swap analysis o Portfolio Analysis and strategy decomposition o Portfolio vs Benchmark attribution analysis o Trading strategy horizon analysis " Experience working with traders and/or portfolio managers to define application functional requirements " Proven ability to independently scope and develop front office/trading/analytical applications/functions " Technical skills should include: Expert level development skills in Java OR C OR C#. " Experience with .Net, XML, Oracle preferred " Excellent written and oral communication skills " Ability to work independently with minimal direct management " Strong team and people skills. " Ability to operate in a high pressure, sometimes demanding setting. Tasks " Works with business reps to gather requirements and define the functional design for functions/applications the Fixed Income Institutional Asset Management organization " Work independently, or with other technology team members, to develop the needed function/application in a RAD environment " Will provide Level II and III support for applications developed by his/her organization " Will spend between 10 and 50% of their time supporting Legacy applications " Liaises with other application groups within the company to insure strategic alignment of application strategies across the organization To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
