PROJECT MANAGER - PMO LEAD LOCATION: Boston, MA Candidate will support large technology infrastructure implementation teams for a leading Financial corporation. Currently looking for experienced, success-driven individuals to work in Boston, MA. Description and Responsibilities: ?- Review and integrate project initiation documentation - Develop and maintain governance structures, program organizational charts and provide guidelines for management and the oversight for workstreams and the program overall - Manage program schedules derived from each workstream including critical path tracking and linkages across all program workstreams - Develop and manage master project plan, schedules, critical path milestones, and overall program timeline - Develop a communications plan, standards, message review process and coordinate all program communications (including development of a formal marketing and communications program) - Provide weekly/monthly/as required management and status reporting - Develop and provide a ?gpackage?h of workstream project management documents/templates, including charter, resource plans, project schedules, and communication templates to ensure consistency across program - Develop and maintain based on workstream schedules a program dependency/linkages document ?- Maintain and manage dependencies and integration of program workstreams as well as other critical adjacent program/functions; ? IT Asset Data Strategy (Asset lifecycle processes, canonical data sources and repositories, tool, and data coordination, reporting), ?? Disaster Recovery, ?? Other transformation initiatives - Develop a process for and manage on an ongoing basis: ?? Change management, ?? Risk management, ?? Quality management, ?? Critical action and decision management, ?? Deliverable approval and management ?? Issue management, ?? Resource leveling and management, ?? Document and data management - Develop and implement collaboration Intranet sites and processes for the program as well as the framework and guidelines for individual workstream sites - Assist individual workstreams in the execution of project management or scope execution tasks as feasible ?- Establish and monitor/manage financial controls and project budget Requirements: - 8-10 years of relevant IT infrastructure project management experience, including experience with data centers and/or migration-related projects - Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and follow through to resolve outstanding issues - Construction and contracting background a plus - Attention to detail with ability to convey ideas clearly ?- Ability to deliver within project timeframes and constraints - Experience with MS Project, MS Visio and MS Office Suite ?- Ability to function effectively as a team member and organize work activities for others on the team - Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem solving environment - Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills - Basic understanding of networking, distributed systems and data operations - Strong knowledge of project management best practices - Strong multitasking abilities To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
