Product Manager in New York, NY

This Product Manager will report to the Director of Product Administration and be responsible to:Work with the Director to establish product definition, strategy, and roadmapGather and integrate feedback from stakeholdersDraft a product definition document and functional requirements to guide developmentManage prioritization of issues, enhancements, new featuresWork with operations to monitor and analyze product performance dailyWork with marketing to coordinate product launchSpecify feature changes or upgrades to achieve strategic goalsCreate requirements documentsCreate wire-frames, artists renderingsCoordinate with IT to develop and deploy new featuresReport regularly to Director and Executives on product statusQualified applicant should have experience with all of the following:Requirements gathering and documentation for software, Web, or mobile products or servicesanalysing marketing and operating dataSpecific skills required include:Excellent written and verbal communication abilityAttention to detailDiligent follow-up and perseveranceAdvanced knowledge of MS ExcelIntermediate knowledge of MS AccessProject managementTeamwork and interpersonal relations skillsComfortable with numerical and statistical analysisHands-on, can-do attitudeUnderstanding of direct marketing conceptsUnderstanding of subscription-based businessesSolid understanding of statisticsExperience with any of the following are strong plusses:Software Development life cycleHTMLMobile interactive products and technologiesGame design and development, software-based or Web basedInternet-based lead generationDegree in MIS, Systems Analysis, MarketingCompensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
