Database Developer Job Description: As a key member of their financial systems team, you will be developing the systems that form the foundation of our trading operations, including risk management, clearing, settlement, profit and loss, financial accounting and financing forecasting. Job Qualifications Extraordinary knowledge and experience in designing high-performance, reliable and scalable database applications Able to work with traders /operations staff to be able to understand fees, trade breaks, settlement date vs calendar date vs trade date, margin, stock lending, etc. Thorough knowledge of core Java and JDBC In-depth experience with enterprise database systems, particularly Oracle Experience building web-based database applications An understanding of object-oriented design and design patterns, and familiarity with rapid development Experience generating reports in various formats including Microsoft Excel Strong desire to work in an extremely fast-paced environment Please apply today for immediate consideration!
