? Maintain a high level of user satisfaction and system uptime and demonstrate this through industry acceptable metrics.
? Team with department heads to leverage IT developments and build IT enabled business strategies for the each department that are both effective and cost beneficial.
? Manage 3 data centers in NY with more that 40 servers including an extensive base of Windows, Citrix, MS SQL, MS Exchange 2003, VMWARE ESX Servers, OSX and Linux.
? Manage a sophisticated WAN environment that includes Metropolitan-Area Ethernet, T1s, multiple VPNs, CISCO, VOIP, and extensive remote access.
? Coach, develop and maintain a dedicated staff.
? Stay abreast of new products and services while benchmarking with the industry best practice organizations to ensure the organization maintains a leading edge in its information systems infrastructure where appropriate.
? Be an integral part of the wider community representing to all levels including collaborative projects and conferences.
Experience: ? Bachelors Degree and 10 years of experience in running large-scale networking and telecom operations.
? Senior level technology experience preferred.
? Ability to coordinate many projects at once in an effective and timely fashion.
? Excellent tier-three level trouble-shooting abilities.
? Strong administrative and organizational skills.
? Demonstrated management experience.
? Ability to problem-solve and collaborate across departments.
