Position DetailsOur client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage multiple projects within e-Business and Corporate Services department. The Project Manager applies knowledge of product requirements to determine the roles and responsibilities of all team members to successfully manage project activities and ensure the delivery of project deliverables. To be successful in this role, candidates must be able to understand the entire scope and requirements of project(s) and serve as the liaison between cross functional team members, system development, technical services and business line management.This person should seek opportunities to improve the product development process and is persistent in ensuring tasks are completed. The Project Manager must be able to present project status to senior management and mitigate risks to ensure successful product delivery.Responsibilities* Coordinate and lead multi-faceted, cross functional project teams and stakeholder meetings and create and maintain documentation to support project activities and deliverables.* Program Managers in tracking project progress, costs, updating project plans and develop and distribute status reports. * Assist in negotiation, definition, communication and management of project scope.* Provide training and coaching on project management principals and practices and support to those groups and individuals within the organization who participate in and deliver projects.* Collaborate with Application Engineering and other development groups involved in the project delivery process.BEST INDUSTRY – ITBEST DEPARTMENT – eCommerce/Internet
Experience: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline such as Business, Information Technology, Management or Information Systems is required.5 - 7 years experience in a Project or Product Management role (may be combined).Working knowledge of Project Management best practices and industry standards (e.g. PMI/PMBOK) is required.PMP Certification and/or Certified Scrum Master is required. NO EXCEPTIONS.Demonstrated experience developing analytical data products, business intelligence, and/or related information retrieval technologies is essential in this role.Proven track record leading large, successful projects in a complex business and systems environment, across all phases of the project life cycle is required.Write requirements specifications: * Develop high-level business and user requirements in conjunction with cross-functional teams and customers. * Decompose high-level business and user requirements into functional and nonfunctional requirements, specified in an appropriate level of detail suitable for use by those must base their work on the requirements. * Represent requirements using alternative views, such as analysis models (diagrams), prototypes, or scenarios, where appropriate. * Conduct and produce quantitative analysis of various products. * Conduct planned research efforts (customer surveys, best practices, etc). *Analyze website metrics for path analysis and customer experience improvements.CompensationNegotiable
