One of SGAs major financial clients is seeking a MCS Client Side Developer for a contract position in New York, NY. The role will require the candidate to work on designing, developing, testing and supporting the system with focus on client side components i.e. document management, admin consoles, reporting, visual dependency graph rendering and navigation. The role will also involve server side development using java, spring, hibernate, and require working with the QA team to review and prepare test cases, and collaboration with teams.The candidate will conduct regular design and code review sessions with the team, and assist in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, problem resolution, and provide timely reporting to management on status of development, quality, and overall system performance.
Skill Required:
6 Years+ experience in Software Development with 2 years of technical leadership responsibilities. Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively multi-task. Have the drive and ability to learn quickly new technologies, frameworks and have excellent systems troubleshooting skills. Strong experience in designing, implementing and troubleshooting Web Based and Rich UI based transactional systems developed using OO, AOP, RDBMS, Multithreading, Sockets, File & Memory IO, MQ, ORM and Web Services. Strong experience using Adobe Flex, AIR, ActionScript and MVC frameworks i.e. Pure MVC or Cairngorm. 3+ years of current hands-on experience in Java J2EE technologies including Servlets, JSPs, JDBC, JNDI, RMI/IIOP, JMS, JMX, Hibernate, Spring and CXF. Strong experience in RDBMS design and SQL development on Sybase, DB2 experience is a plus.
