Senior Applications Developer
Location of New York, NY
Job Summary:
Develop software applications using Visual Studio C# in the Microsoft .NET Framework environment
Develop software applications using HTML, Java Script, XML, and SQL
Coordinate with clients, system development and project management
Duties and Responsibilities:
Design and develop components of Web based Front Office Application Systems in team environments
Periodically perform walk-thru of developed code throughout project lifecycle to peers, users, customers, and all levels of management
Qualifications
Must have at least a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Minimum 4 years diverse IT experience in Web, e-Business, Interfaces, and Client Server based development of medium and high complexity applications
Solid background in Data, Graphical Interface, and system design
Strong experience with OOP design and development
In-depth experience developing with: MS Visual Studio, C#, ASP.NET, Java Script, XML, HTML, Web Services (SOAP, XML)
Microsoft SQL Server (2005+)
Oracle RDBMS familiarity a plus
Must have a strong understanding of Office Tools: MS Excel, MS Word, Power Point, Visio, MS Project, and ACCESS
Cold Fusion, ASP or other scripting language a plus
Windows Server Operating Systems experience a plus
Working knowledge of the software development life cycle
Experience with Agile, Lean, or Xtreme programming highly desired
Excellent documentation skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
Previous experience with BizTalk, MS SSRS, Sharepoint webparts, Sharepoint server, and MOSS a plus
