Program Manager in New York, NY

One of SGA s major financial clients is seeking a Program Manager for a contract role in New York, NY.
Core Function: end to end management, coordination and oversight of the Proof of Concept for the Aperture Vista asset management product Specific Responsibilities: Own the Project plan, engaging and communicating with stakeholders and dependent & interested teams Maintain strong relationship ties with Aperture vendor to ensure alignment throughout duration of POC Raise and articulate risks/ exposures and dependencies in the program Consultations/ partnering with related IT teams for engagement, input and feedback/ sign off as appropriate Communicate, articulate and track the POC success criteria across all parties Ensure capability exists for tracking of success against POC and system requirements Work with internal EI product stake holders/ vendors to ensure project remains on track / is adjusted and communicated if required Chair weekly project status meetings and distribute weekly headline mgmt summary status/ progress report Produce POC review document at end of POC that includes at minimum measurement against success criteria, summary feedback/ experience and global implementation considerations Skills Required:
Self starterable to identify where focus is needed and bring clarity to requirements/ overall program. Strong problem solving / analytical skills Capable of driving projects through from initiation to completionkeeping agenda on track and working to overcome potential obstacles should they arise Excellent project management and team building skills Ability to manage multiple, concurrent tasks/ deliverables with minimal supervision Should enjoy fast paced work environment and client focused attitude. Collaborative capable of working effectively across a variety of IT and Business groups, across regions, roles and able to interact effectively with all levels. Strong communication skills essentialboth verbal and written Business acumenunderstanding and ability to translate POC results and experience into ROI data/ business case for progression to production implementation. Ability to deal with difficult situations/ individuals gracefully Ability to influence decisions/ mindsets, challenge where appropriate. Extensive technical knowledge of data centers including IT Technology and Mechanical & Electrical systems Technical appreciation of Aperture Vista product would position the candidate wellSkills RequiredBachelor Degree Education LevelMinimum 8 Years relevant industry experience Proven track record in program/ project management of large scale, global, multi team POCs/ implementationsProven track record in vendor/ tool product integration experience/ relationship
