Qualitek Services has an immediate 4 months+ contract opening for a DSP (Digital Signal Processing) Embedded Software Engineer in Rochester, NY.
REQUIRED SKILLS
****Must be a US Citizen****
Candidate must have a Bachelor?s Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with at least five years of previous work experience in DSP and embedded programming using C and Assembly software languages.
Requirements:
**** Must be a U.S. Citizen ****
**** BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering ****
**** Must have 5 years of experience in DSP design and development ****
**** Working knowledge of Hardware/Software interaction including DSP processing ****
Must have programming experience with real-time embedded systems using C and Assembly and the ability to analyze and tune system designs to identify and eliminate performance bottlenecks.
Must have Excellent debugging and problem solving skills with embedded systems, ability to work with hardware designers, and a proven track record of resolving hardware/software integration issues.
Must have the ability to debug, test, and measure specifications on completed design.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting in to the Corporate Multiband Engineering Software group for software development for the communications product. Specific job responsibilities include design and documentation of software features, implementation, testing, defect analysis, and trouble report resolution.
Pay Rate: $50/hr MAX DOE
