One of SGA s top financial clients is seeking a ERP Strategy Application Architect for a contract position in New York, NY.
Description:
ERP Strategy is a multi year program. The architect will be a senior person and a part of central team responsible to produce roadmap, define common ERP elements/platform, define blue prints and best practices, cook book etc. This person will produce artifacts to support ERP Strategy realization/execution. Phase 1 of the program produced clarity and recommendations towards a Client state. This person should be able to take these recommendations and support delivery of the roadmap.
Task/Responsibilities:
Support creating approach document and realization roadmap
Work with infrastructure to define ERP platform details like the client standard JAVA Platform
Producing design patterns for buy solutions across various vendor and in house components
Define ERP Platform consists of: ERP Platform Concept Document, How many Platforms Levels of platforms, abstract platforms, Design Patterns, Blueprint, best practices, Needs for Integration, Interoperability, Environments
Able to guide architecture teams on long term large scale implementations
Manage/Keep up to date steering pack: BCM, PCM, Design Patterns, Cook Books, Blue Prints, Roadmaps, end state architectures
Competence
Strong in strategy execution and delivery
Strong background producing roadmaps
Strong understanding of complex problems and limitations of large organizations in terms of executing multi year strategy
Should have executed a multi year strategy at a large organization
Very strong application platform architecture skills
Macro manage recommendations/outcomes
Very strong platform and integration architecture background must have run architectures for major back office multi year program preferable in a large bank
Experience of implementing architecture across various ERP platform components
Well rounded hands on senior technologists
Hands on experience on all tiers of applications a plus
Strong communication time management skills
Should be able to estimate efforts to execute on the roadmap
