Our client, a LEADER in the Capital Markets industry has the following consulting opportunity available through RMS Computer Corporation working onsite at our client on the following project. NO AGENCIES PLEASE LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY Investment Bank's Global FX Technology Team is looking to hire a developer to build out its marquis FX electronic trading platform - a feature rich state of the art application for institutional / professional FX traders. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to: * Work with a highly motivated and skilled team of technologists * Work closely with the traders and related business people * Work in a fast paced environment that's focused on delivering business value and enhancing the competitive edge * Learn intimate details about the workings of the FX markets * Participate in all phases of the project life cycle - from requirements gathering to deployment. The ideal candidate will have: * 5 to 9 years of total work experience that includes construction of attractive, feature rich, high performance C#/.NET WinForms applications for electronic trading of financial securities/products (example: FX, Equities, etc.) * Wall St. experience working with trader applications * Four year degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics or Engineering. * Good communication skills * Strong work ethic with focus on adding value to the team * Ability to acquire the necessary business knowledge * Ability to build flexible, easy to maintain software systems employing design patterns and best coding practices * Strong grasp of the fundamental concepts: data structures, concurrency control (threading), object oriented design, distributed systems design * Strong track record in building desktop client applications for Windows environment utilizing the following skills/technologies: * C#/.NET Win Forms / .NET Framework 2.0 * Custom Controls / Custom Painting * SyncFusion Controls * CAB Framework * TCP/IP Sockets * TIBCO RV or similar middleware
