Our Client, a Wall Street-based Hedge Fund has an immediate need for a Sr. Level C++ / Linux Trading Systems Developer consultant (8 Months - 1 Year contract) specializing in real-time trading systems development. REQUIREMENTS: *Experience supporting/developing real-time trading systems and proprietary trading applications. *C/C++ Development and scripting experience on Linux/UNIX. *Exposure to Algorithmic/Quantitative trading. *Proficiency integrating an out-of-the-box, 3rd party application with back office operations. *Strong communication skills to interface/troubleshoot issues with traders and 3rd party vendors. *Scripting experience as it relates to modification of trading system interfaces. *Experience with threading and socket-programming a plus. *ACE Framework exposure. *UNIX/Linux exposure a must Compensation to be based on experience.
