Duration: 18 Months
An 18 month contract position is available for an experienced User Acceptance Tester Lead in
Mandatory Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience in User Acceptance Testing.
- Experience using automated testing tools, including developing UAT automated test scripts. Hands-on Rational testing tools (Functional Tester and Test Manager) experience desired.
- Thorough understanding of what is needed to create accurate test cases from designs and business requirements.
- Strong business analysis skills.
- Ability to provide leadership to user acceptance team, as well as interact professionally with management, outside vendors, business analysts, and technical support staff. This includes the ability to clearly document and explain problems, as well as work with others to resolve software defects.
- Working knowledge of Excel, MS Access, and MS Project.
- Ability to plan, manage time according to schedules, and provide status updates required.
- Ability to quickly resolve issues with "out of the box" thinking.
- Must be able to be self-motivated and be able to handle or mitigate problem situations.
- Experience with various defect tracking tools.
Mandatory Experience
- Five years testing experience with 2 years testing lead experience. (Experience with testing financial systems strongly desired.)
- Ability to clearly escalate issues to appropriate people, as necessary.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
Preferred Experience
- Hands-on lead testing experiences with complex financial management systems a strong plus.
- UAT testing of complex financial applications in a web environment desired.
- Must be a self starter.
Mandatory Education
BA in MIS, Computer Science, related field from a recognized college or university or equivalent work experience.
