Candidate will design and prepare technical specifications based on business and functional requirements. Will also be responsible for monitoring all infrastructure associated with the Asset Management applications & systems. Technical knowledge/skills requirements:Must Haves:*Overall experience as an application developer/infrastructure design person with the below skill sets should be 3+ years*Experience in designing & supporting Intel and/or Unix servers running home-grown and vendor provided products*Experience using MQ series, FTP, PERL Scripts*JAVA or C++ programming language (server & client applications) including experience in developing distributed database applications and user interfaces*RDBMS experience using SQL Server and/or SYBASE including stored procedures and some experience with relational database design*Experience in Object Oriented design and development*Self Starter who can work with minimal supervision*Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or other related field*Experience in Microsoft Office suite*Experience in building & supporting client/server applicationsPluses:*Experience in Financial Brokerage Applications *Knowledge of Financial instruments *Expertise in Microsoft technology using Visual Studio.NET, Visual C++ and C#*Experience in distributed technologies like DCOM or .
