We have an excellent opportunity for a Information Technology professional to join the effort to build the new World Trade Center. Our client is seeking a Systems Administrator who will be responsible for maintaining the Security Identification System responsible for access to the location. **Responsibilities include: User account administration Desktop and printer administration Monitoring and maintaining 3rd party packages like anti-virus and backup/restore programs tape management, spyware remediation, check event viewer log, performance metrics, disaster recovery tests Establish a change management process Daily/weekly/monthly health checks over the environment DHCP Basic troubleshooting as needed in support of Linksys wireless links and handheld Symbol 8100 scanners and their respective cradles, etc. **Additional responsibilities include: Creating Custom Reports using Crystal Reports Adherence to business process Oversight and review/comment upon the cut-over plan from the old to the new system Auditing of existing environment Keeping manuals up to date.
Requirements:
Experience and Requirements for this position include: 3-5 years experience maintaining a MS Windows 2K Network 1 Year experience creating Crystal Reports custom reports Attention to detail, proactive, self starter, takes the initiative Good written and oral communications Good troubleshooter Knowledge (not at DBA level) of database structures SQL Server 2000 in order to check logs, work as a liaison to the application support vendor for upgrades/updates Knowledgeable of PC operating systems Windows 2000 as well as on the server platform **Will be subject to a thorough background investigation including criminal & credit history. Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder
