Senior hands-on programming skills in Oracle SQL, PL-SQL, query tuning, data load performance improvement, database configuration in terms of indexing, partitioning, data modeling, database administration skills to check rollback segment space and resource utilization on the database so that any process that is costly can be optimized.Provide technology solutions that address business needs by developing applications within technology environments.Contribute to the technical code documentation and functional specification documents. Good writing skills are required.Design, develop, test and implement frameworks.Implement fixes and enhancements.Mentor / train less senior developers.Involved in full life cycle of project.Identify issues and propose solutions.Develop well tested quality codeExperience working in the Financial Industry, including Brokerage, Commercial Banking, Investment Banking, Trading Support, or Investment Services. Experience in building or working extensively with projects where large databases or data warehouses of financial and trading data are being implemented. Experience in projects that focused on building web-based applications. Extensive development experience in the above-mentioned domain on the web platform using Java/JSPs. Experience in regulatory capital adequacy reporting projects. Previous experience on Basel II implementations. Previous experience in Risk or Credit Management departments or previous experience working in an IT team that supported a Risk or Credit Management department. Previous experience as an all round IT Developer who is flexible and has worked on different architectures and frameworks.
