Duration: 18 months
An 18 month contract position is available in New York, New York for an experienced Financial Systems Trainer.
Mandatory Requirements
- Hands-on knowledge of training methods and best practices for user training on application software
- Hands-on knowledge of training authoring tools/software
- Understanding of standard SDLC methodologies and training functions associated with the deployment phase
- Ability to work and motivate large audiences
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Education Required
BA or Masters degree in MIS, computer science, education or related field from a recognized college or university or comparable experience.
Experience Preferred
- Hands-on training of accounting, procurement or budgeting functions for a financial management ERP package.
- Hands-on authoring of ERP training curriculum or courses.
Desirable ExperienceListed in order of importance:
- 3 or more years training experience delivering training to large audiences
- 2 or more years experience creating (identifying and writing) training material for enterprise-class application software.
- Experience with implementing financial management ERP systems in the public sector.
