We need to hire a consultant with very strong knowledge of both C++ and VBA/Excel programming. Financial expertise is a major plus. The primary responsibility will be to work on the implementation of analytical models in the technology group supporting the client's analytical centers of excellence. The position will start with a 6-month assignment that can be extended by 6 more months.
Requirements:
Requirements (in the order of importance):? Very strong knowledge of the C/ C++ language under Windows, MS Visual C++ preferred; STL (Standard Template Library) a major plus.? Very strong knowledge of VBA/Excel programming;? Strong knowledge of SQL, data design and relational concepts; good knowledge of Access database; experience with Relational Database Systems - Oracle preferred (8i or higher);? Very strong technical background; proficient in object-oriented design, data analysis and system architecture; efficient programming style.Major Pluses (in the order of importance):? Experience with financial products; knowledge of Structured Finance Products (CDO, RMBS, ABS etc.)? Experience on the .NET platform; working knowledge of the C# language;? Experience with UNIX environments? UML/Rational Rose? InstallShield - Application packaging and deployment? Experience with XML/XSL concepts and usageAdditional qualities:?
