This request will assist the application Redesign project by testing new child support applications before they are released. A skilled tester, familiar with Mercury Quality Center (Test Director) and QTP (Quick Test Pro) software, will test new applications. Using Test Director, the Automated System Tester will design test plans based on software specifications and execute regression tests and tests of new functionality. The individual will also report to appropriate supervisory staff as important issues are discovered.
Experience: Mandatory Skills
. Two Year College Degree
. At least one year experience using Mercury interactive software automated testing tools.
* At least two years experience in a system testing environment using both WinRunner and Test Director, including test case and scenario development, validation and reporting through the use of Mercury Interactive testing software.
Desirable Experience
. Minimum of 5 years experience with using manual and automated testing tools on a web based application for test design, development and execution. This includes writing technical and user documentation, developing, documenting and implementing test strategies. Experience should demonstrate knowledge of various categories of system testing; functional, load performance, volume, stress and regression testing. Experience should include providing requirement reviews to analyze testability and inconsistencies.
. Minimum of one (1) year of experience using Mercury Quality Center (Test Director) to write test scripts and record defects on a Child Support Enforcement information systems project.
. Minimum of one (1) year using SQL queries to validate test results.
. Good communication and interpersonal skills
