The Senior Project Manager works under the direction of the VP of Information Systems. This position is responsible for providing management and technical support for project development and implementation in areas that include compliance, contract and procurement activities, various federal, state and local regulations and internal policy and/or procedural business process requirements. This position also assists with directing the short and long term planning, control and monitoring of project scheduling and implementation, and program and project development. The Senior Project Manager is required to maintain all project management information including the monitoring of project contracts, procurement, design development, timelines and all related activities. This position works closely, as directed by the VP of Information Systems, with project team members in resolving project development and implementation issues to ensure quality and on-time project results.

Duties:

1.The Senior Project Manager must execute all project activities in accordance with established schedules, milestones, and process to ensure that all projects are well scoped, well documented, and completed on time and within budget

2.The Senior Project Manager is also responsible for the development and management of all project documentation from planning through final project implementation.

3.The Senior Project Manager will prepare and disseminate all project schedules and related documentation, including a fully developed project plan, in a timely manner.

4.The Senior Project Manager will report significant issues in at timely manner to the VP of Information Systems and any Director/Executive project stakeholders.

5.The Senior Project Manager will prepare and present Monthly Progress Reports to the VP of Information Systems.

6.The Senior Project Manager will attend project-related meetings, maintain minutes and record any outstanding issues.

Excellent written and oral communication 2.Extremely well developed organizational and planning skills 3.Strong networking and negotiation skills to ensure positive working relationships with all staff, consultants, development partners, and other stakeholders 4.Independent, self-starting, self-motivated performer 5.Customer focused with strong analytical skills 6.Solid problem solving ability 7.Business process analysis and redesign experience and expertise 8.Cross-department team building and leadership 9.Project management expertise 10.Technology research, analysis and solutions 11.Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or related discipline with an information technology equivalent. 12.Project Management Certification (PMI or equivalent) and/or a Master's degree is preferred, but not required. 13.A minimum of 10 years of progressive, broad-based IT and business experience within a healthcare environment.
