Director of Engineering in Islandia, NY

Director of Engineering Requirements: BSEE or equivalent experience (MSEE preferred) and a minimum of 15 years experience in the semiconductor/ASIC design environment plus ten years in design management either at the program or departmental level is required. Design experience in an industry standard Verilog HDL language, the associated tool flow plus knowledge of physical design at the place and route level is essential. Cell development experience at the transistor level including the physical design of the cell is highly desirable as is knowledge of the PC architectures (desktop and/or notebook) and bus structures. Verification experience and design experience using schematic capture methodologies are a plus. Proficiency in Windows-based PC software applications and excellent communication and organizational skills are required.
