Mandatory Requirements

Note: Candidates not meeting the following mandatory requirements will not be considered for further evaluation:

1. Three years experience working with Oracle with a thorough understanding of the architecture and processes of the Oracle 7 server, Oracle 8 server

2. Three years experience with the development of large scale, complex applications involving on-line and batch environments

3. Three years experience with installing, tuning and general performance of the Oracle product

4. Three years experience with SQL-PL/SQL, stored procedures and triggers, Oracle tools including Designer

5. Three years experience with knowledge transfer, transition of systems and mentoring

6. Three years experience working with Oracle with a thorough understanding of the architecture and processes of the Oracle 7 server, Oracle 8 server

Desirable Experience Preferred for These Positions

1. Good communication and interpersonal skills

2. Eight years experience designing Oracle databases, including requirements definition, data modeling, and logical & physical design

3. Five years experience configuring, executing and troubleshooting Oracle SQL*Loader in a production database environment

4. Six years experience writing and debugging Unix Korn shell and Perl scripts with a thorough knowledge of language syntax and structure

5. Four years experience designing and implementing data warehouse structures in an Oracle production database environment

6. Three years experience administering Oracle 9i and/or 10g databases in a Production environment, including an understanding of the Oracle 9i/10g architecture and new features.

7. Experience installing and configuring Oracle HTMLDB and Oracle HTTP server, as well as creating and maintaining the associated Workspaces and Workspace users

8. In depth knowledge of Welfare Tracking Systems, including associated business rules

9. Three years experience in designing, developing and maintaining Oracle database structures that support Welfare Tracking systems
