Business Analyst - Sarbanes Oxley in New York, NY

We are currently seeking a Business Analyst to support a client in downtown NYC in the development of global SOX Operational Risk Management systems that will support users with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) guidance and compliance issues. The system will be implemented using Open Pages software. A second project that will focus on creating a system that will assist with ORM self assessment will follow this implementation. This is a highly visible position where you will interact with mid and senior level executives. Responsibilities will include: In the first 6 months, assist with the development of a global SOX ORM system including the implementation of SOX tracking technology. Meet with user base to define specifications. Train users in system functionality and support requests for assistance with the system Present information to users and executives Assist with design, development and implementation of a broader SOX self assessment system Provide guidance updates on new SOX and ORM compliance issues Experience: . Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or related business major preferred Must be technologically savvy Expert knowledge of SOX and Operational Risk Management regulations and initiatives Possessing a team orientation, experience organizing and executing a project, as well as providing leadership with a demonstrated ability to create strong working relationships with others Excellent analysis skills, strong presentation skills Able to influence appropriately to gain consensus while being consultative and flexible Strong written and verbal communication skills Able to multitask Responsive with a well developed sense of urgency To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
