Responsible for providing second level operational support for internal processing and functions relating to all aspects of the network infrastructure. 

This position starts at 7:00 pm and ends at 7:30 am, three days per week to include one weekend night.

Responsibilities:

This position is performing second and third level problem research, diagnosis and resolution.

Using tools like Netcool, Gasper, Cisco Works, Sniffer, PCAnywhere, and many others the analyst will need to be able to troubleshoot and repair any server, switch, router, ATM, core OS and core application issues.

Act as a resource for scheduled infrastructure projects, departmental initiated projects and maintenance processes.

Assist the engineering and telecommunication teams with installations and upgrades

Create and maintain all support documentation that allows the Network Control Center to troubleshoot and resolve network related outages as efficiently as possible.

Work with equipment manufacturer to be sure that the integrity of the infrastructure is maintained (Cisco, IBM).

Review and approve all changes to the network

Answer calls from Clients, Help Desk, Engineering and others regarding production problems.

Coordinate all data gathering exercise (core dumps, sniffer traces) prior to escalating issues to engineering



Basic Qualifications:

Strong computer skills

Ideal Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, related field or equivalent in work experience.
