Job Purpose/ Description: The Quality Control Vendor Relationship Manager manages the outsourcing process for the organization's QC department. The successful candidate will manage the vendor relationship both onsite and offshore, monitor compliance to the contract and manage the assignment of resources from the vendor to the approved projects. This individual will also work closely with the Quality Control managers associated with the various business areas to ensure that the project needs are met and customer satisfaction is achieved. Will be responsible for managing the budgeting of the outsourced contract to stay within prescribed limits. This candidate will also be responsible for enforcing and measuring performance through contractually agreed upon Service Level Agreements. This position requires a strong, professional candidate with an excellent work ethic who exhibits superior communication and negotiation skills. The candidate should have extensive experience in vendor management. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinate the integration of the selected vendor into approved projects Ensure vendor compliance with procedures and guidelines Facilitate resolution of disputes with vendor to ensure optimal client satisfaction Conduct random quality assurance of vendor performance against established service levels Prepare and send out a vendor scorecard to the vendor and make follow up phone calls to discuss performance Evaluate vendor performance through scorecard reports and customer feedback; resolve issues and implement solutions to address negative vendor performance Act as liaison between client and the vendor to ensure contract compliance Review vendor contract for ongoing accuracy, relevancy, completeness and compliance Evaluate and approve vendor change requests to existing contract Communicate processes and improvements to the vendor and internal staff Participate in strategic planning to identify future cost savings within QC and the business areas including moving the outsourcing to an offshore facility Ensure minimal loss and exposure through adherence to all regulatory requirements and company policies and guidelines Perform special projects and related duties as assigned Develop ongoing test plans including value added methods, processes and strategies that maximize quality with a focus on ROI Experience: Tasks and Responsibilities: Requirements: Must have managed a previous engagement within a Testing/QA environment Must have experience with Metrics and SLAs. (quality metrics of the vendor, measure quality of deliverables, measure quality of products within cost structure and within time constraints) Bachelors degree preferred Five years experience in vendor management Excellent negotiation skills Excellent interpersonal skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Highly organized and able to prioritize Detailed oriented with a high degree of accuracy Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently with strong administrative/problem solving skills Out-of-the-box thinker with ability to exercise independent judgment Ambitious and assertive Professional, positive attitude and appearance To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
