Financial Systems Control Analyst - General Ledger in New York, NY

We are seeking a Senior Financial Systems Control Analyst to support our client in downtown NYC with the implementation of an enterprise wide SAP General Ledger system. You will meet with stakeholders to assist with the analysis and design of a uniform Chart of Accounts system and manage resources to achieve project objectives. Responsibilities include: Maintain financial applications tables for system processing and updates Coordinate system implementation and testing Update system for recently acquired companies Assist with maintaining control over security access to the financial application and data warehouse Supervise input and transactions level posting rights Communicate system updates to business units Monitor the project plan, deliverables and resources; and identify and implement remedial plans as necessary to ensure the timely and quality delivery of project initiatives Experience: Position Requirements: 5-7 years of progressive experience analyzing and maintaining accounting systems, solving business issues, and managing diverse resources. Knowledge of an ERP, preferably SAP, and experience updating functions. General understanding of accounting principles and systems, particularly with regard to Chart of Accounts process flows Experience implementing, deploying and maintaining large scale General Ledger applications Ability to facilitate and coordinate the resolution of Business, Technology and Service delivery issues Ability to manage the application.
