C++(Market Data) Major financial services house in NYC seeking 5 senior level developers with either front OR back-end skills. Must have financial background(ie) fixed income, securities, real-time trading, etc. 1) UNIX C++ developer: Skill Set: (MUST HAVE) Strong programming skills in C++ Object Oriented Design Client Server programming Real-Time market data experience Multi-threading UNIX knowledge under Sun Solaris or comparable experience Perl knowledge a plus Financial knowledge of the Fixed Income markets Strong communication skills Motivated individual that is relatively self sufficient 2) UNIX C++ developer with strong database skills: All of the skills of the above (lighter in some areas acceptable as long as the below skills are covered well) PLUS: SQL skills: o Queries o Tables creation w/ proper indexes o Stored Procedures o Mindfulness to efficient DB design Sybase ASE Sybase IQ The IQ experience is VERY IMPORTANT Experience: Skill Set: (MUST HAVE) .
