Cold Fusion Developer
Location - Mid Town Manhattan
Duration - long term contract
Our client is a world recognized leader in the financial industry. This is an exciting opportunity in mid-town NY.
Client desires to hire this position as a FT employee at some point during the contract
CF Developer (certified via Brainbench, W3Schools, or Adobe/Macromedia) who knows Databases/SQL Server.
The team will be upgrading/migration from CF 5 to MX7.
Coding/recoding in Cold ColdFusion sites. Adding data to the database and will be using the database to produce data.
Experience with:
Migrations and upgrades from CF 5 to MX 7.
CFC's, Suppress Whitespace, working with Array Functions and custom tags.
CF Frameworks such as FuseBox, Model-Glue, Mach-II, Reactor or ColdSpring.
Eclipse + ColdFusion, CVS, SVN
Version control systems including both CVS and SVN
JIRA bug tracking tool, JIRA + SVN plugin
Lotus Notes
SQL
transactions
indexes, use of indexes, types of indexes, why to use what
optimizing SQL queries
optimizing DB tables, indexes
normalization of data
SQL Server 2005
OOP
