Title: Senior Analyst
Key Qualifications:
•Work with front office personnel to develop analytic reporting solutions for the company and transition into the Data Management provider(s) as necessary
•Analysis & reporting on derivative strategies using methods such as VAR etc.
•Develop, prepare and analyze company wide & client specific performance, attribution, and asset mix optimization reports
•Create and automate product and client level risk reports designed to analyze performance vs. expected alpha, tracking error, information ratio etc.
•Analyze performance vs. peer universe data
•Analyze performance of daily valued funds.
– Create value added reporting for internal portfolio managers based on risk/return parameters.
•Utilize third party applications such as Factset to provide support to portfolio management
•Participate on task teams that address topical and strategic investment & performance issues.
•Support Business Development efforts
- GIPS Compliance
- Third party marketing
•Assist other areas in cross-functional projects.
- Data Management transition
•Research analytics systems for possible deployment within the Company
Experience: Candidate Qualifications
Required:
Advanced degree-MBA, MS or PhD
5+ years related business experience
Superior analytical & independent problem solving skills
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Skilled in the use of a PC: Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, et al
Highest level of Integrity, superior work ethic, attention to detail & enthusiasm for quality
