Our client is a full service technology provider delivering integration, infrastructure and project management services. They provide agencies with IT solutions that simplify complex needs in the workplace and improve efficiency, effectiveness, quality and compliance.
In this role this person will:
. Service client networks, and networking equipment on-site
. Document work performed using online trouble ticket tool
. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking problems impacting
clients
. Build and install servers, configures Operating Systems, and conducts
software loads
. Manage servers, including maintaining current status of software, and
applying security, hot fixes and system patches
. Design security models and develop file-sharing models for Microsoft,
Cisco, Hewlett-Packard, and Citrix Networks.
. Install, configure and maintain Cisco and Sonicwall firewalls.
. Install & maintain Cisco and other various types of wireless networks
. Install & maintain VoIP telephone systems (CME knowledge helpful, but
not required)
Minimum Qualifications:
. 3 years minimum field engineering experience
. Current Certifications: (2 of the following) Citrix Certified Administrator
(CCA), Citrix Certified Network Engineer (CCEA), Cisco Certified
Networking Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional

(CCNP), Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA), Cisco Certified
Wireless LAN Field Engineer (CCWLFE), Cisco Certified Wireless Support
Engineer (CCWSE), Microsoft MCP, Microsoft Certified 2000/2003
System Engineer (MCSE), or other MSCE specializations (MSCE I, MSCE
S, etc.)
. Experience in Microsoft -based platforms critical:
. Server 2000/2003
. Exchange 2000/2003
. Small Business Server 2000/2003
. Experienced in Cisco firewall and switch installation/configuration
. Experienced working on HP/Compaq and Dell equipment, both servers and
desktops
. Working familiarity with the following software: Trend Micro, Symantec,
McAfee, Veritas, ArcServe (Computer Associates)
. Excellent customer & communication skills, rapid response, and decision making
capabilities are required
