SMARTSOURCE is currently in need of an Internet Applications Support Manager for a company based out of Manhattan, New York 10001

Internet Applications Management Support Requirements
Responsible for the application layer of internet production, Webtrends and other internet applications. Will need to work closely with the developer and the hardware teams. It will also handle requests coming in from the production, editorial and business/advertising groups.
. Enhance and provide analytics code for use in our online assets.
. Maintain Webtrends reporting and configure new reports based on company needs.
. Provide the ability to track various digital media including video and podcasts.
. Work closely with the advertising group to provide support from the technology side.
. Provide latest ad tags and enhance the functionality for the current setup and for the move to EZPublish.
. Enable pre-roll advertising functionality for online video.
Apache and IIS
. Work on the latest configurations for all our sites.
. Function as the technical liaison in the migration to EZPublish.
. Improve functionality of our current and future environments.
. Work with the developers to roll out new web infrastructure on to the web servers.
. Work with the hardware team to maintain uptime and performance from the application layer side.
Akamai
. Maintain our caching strategy and adjust to traffic needs.
. Create and maintain akamai configurations.
. Support for mobile sites and dynamic redirection.
. Work with the developer team to ensure best performance through akamai.
. Work with the hardware team to leverage akamai service in maximizing our infrastructure.
Other
. Technical contact point and support for production and editorial groups: contests, surveys, microsites, forums and new applications.
. Work with the mobile team to provide functionality.
