Our client, a Long Island based institutional broker / dealer is seeking a mid level Java programmer for their software development department to aide in the design and development of in-house software applications. This is an exciting hands on opportunity for a programmer to enhance client's existing software while actively participating in the development of new projects. The ideal candidate should be familiar with database programming using technologies such as JDBC and SQL Server and Java programming, and firm understanding of a relational database, preferably SQL Server. Familiarity with Visual Basic.NET, ADO.NET, and Visual Basic a big Plus.
