<b><u><font color= "#3399CC">WAN Architect </font color= "#3399CC"></u></b><br>
Our downtown Manhattan client is in need of a Wide Area Network Architect that has experience building out and configuring network infrastructures but can also negotiate vendor contracts. The WAN Architect will be responsible for multiple projects on the design and implementation levels. The Network Architect must have the experience to work independently. <br><br><br>

Experience: <b><u><font color= "#3399CC">Skill sets required: </font color= "#3399CC"></u></b><br><ul>
<li> Must have a strong understanding of Networking Protocols and high speed WAN, MAN carrier services.<br>
<li> Must have at least 2+ years with Network/ Telecommunications Architecture and design.
<li> Must have 5+ years experience of implementing corporate network solutions. <br>
<li> Must have an understanding of building data wiring systems and architecture. <br>
<li> Knowledge of TIA and EIA cable standards. <br>
<li> Must have experience with vendor relations and management, including contract negotiations and RFP creation.
<li> Experience with Optical Systems, ex. DWDM.
<li> Must have great communication and able to work independently.
<li> Must be able to start immediately without giving notice.
