Senior Web 2.0 Developer in NEW YORK, NY

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES<br></p>
Senior Software Engineers are expected to have significant technical depth. The following technical skills are required. Strong object-oriented design and development skills preferably with relationship to UI (user interface) development and with programming languages such as Java, C++, Objective-C, ActionScript 3.0, strong experience with FlexBuilder 3, Flash CS3, and ActionScript 3.0. Strong web development skills a plus, including knowledge of HTML, CSS 3, AJAX, JavaScript as well as JavaScript frameworks such as Prototype and jQuery. Knowledge of and willingness to work with server-side development platforms such as J2EE, Spring, and Hibernate is a significant plus.<br></p>

This particular position will focus heavily on new business projects and OOUI (object-oriented user interface) development. Successful candidates must be flexible enough to grasp new platforms and languages very quickly, and should be prepared to think &#147;out of the box&#148; when necessary. While the Senior Software Engineer is required to possess experience with the software development life cycle, successful candidates must also be able to work effectively in non-structured &#147;Skunkworks&#148; style R&D and contribute constructive solutions in a collaborative, exploratory environment.<br></p>
Experience: Strong Object Oriented Design experience especially relating to UI Development. <br></p>
Experience with design and development of Client/Server Applications<br></p>
Client/Server Database systems integration and reporting<br></p>
