Summary
As a Ruby on Rails Developer, you will work collaboratively in an Agile environment with product managers, software engineers, and architects to develop our next generation of Web 2.0 products. You will write well-factored, extensible, and elegant Ruby on Rails code with a test-driven approach.
Reports to: The Applications Development Manager
Duties/Responsibilities

Actively participate in custom software development in an Agile, test-driven iterative environment
Conduct technology evaluations
Scale systems for growth, and design for different clients and roles
Design systems for high-traffic, high-availability, and monitoring
Work as part of a cross-functional team tasked to work with business stakeholders

You must possess the following qualities

Excellent communication skills
Proven ability to design and deliver solutions relevant to complex business problems
Strong motivation and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment supporting business-critical production environments

Major Pluses to have

Bachelor's degree in computer science or closely related field

Experience: Required Background/Experience

1+ year(s) experience as a Ruby on Rails Developer
2+ years programming experience, predominantly in Ruby
Strong experience in Web User interface design
Strong analysis, design, and modeling skills
