They are building out their IT infrastructure and are looking for a QA Analyst.
OVERVIEW:
The QA Analyst is responsible for testing new software, verifying bug fixes and developing test cases and test plans. You will be tracking and reporting defects, and writing technical documentation. This position requires the documentation of all change management processes, and testing of the released product in a production environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review business requirements, user interface specifications and design documents.
- Prepare and execute Test Automation Scripts (QTP & Load Runner)
- Report defects and release day checkout.
- Perform functional, regression and smoke testing.
- Create and compose test cases, test plans, bug reports, perform functional and regression testing.
- Manage and maintain test environment.
- Test and document critical updates, security patches, services packs, and applications on test environment prior to production deployment.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Manual & Automated Mercury Testing Tools
- QTP required & Load Runner preferred.
- MUST possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Strong technical and networking knowledge.
- Knowledge of IIS and SQL Server 2000.
- Good follow-through skills and ability to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Bachelor's degree.
