Experience: My client is a well known law firm based in NYC. They seek a Desktop Support Analyst. You must have previous law firm experience to qualify for this position.
The main responsibilities for the Support Analyst include:
• Installing, maintaining, upgrading and troubleshooting pcs, laptops, printers and other peripherals; installing, maintaining, upgrading and troubleshooting MS Office and other core applications.
• Utilizing SMS, HP WebJetadmin and BMC Service Desk Express for inventory, trouble shooting and call logging.
• Insuring compliance with software licensing; maintaining accurate inventory of technology assets.
• Help resolve end-user and technical problems quickly and effectively at Tier 2 level.
• Being an effective “User Advocate” to represent the needs and quality that the user community demands.
• Working on various concurrent projects many of which must move at a pace driven by the clients' transaction and case related events as assigned by the manager.
We're looking for applicants with at least three years of experience in the IT field along with a minimum of two years in a support role or combination of education and experience. Other requirements include knowledge of PC application assessment, integration, testing, maintenance and compatibility in a professional services environment.<p>
