UNIX Operations Support / 4 day week (Downtown)Super fast paced, highly energized Data Center environment seeks individual of experience and technical depth.· Monitored devices in Data Center: hubs, Switch, gateways, modems, Cables· Administered reboots for hardware upgrades and patch installs· Performed hot swaps on RAID disk array when disk failed, continued to maintain systems operations· Monitored 2000+ Systems Servers and 5000+ user on network, submitted systems operations report log· Supported the internal application on multiple platforms with routine health checks· Performed critical systems diagnostics, and daily maintenance for overall systems protocols and operations
Experience: * 5-7 years hands-on UNIX operations and support * Experience within an Enterprise data center environment * Monitoring operations applications, troubleshooting problems * Interfacing with eternal and internal users * Problem resolution interfacing with other company departments * Modification and script development for task automation and troubleshooting * Shift requirements: Wednesday/Thursday/Friday/Saturday 12PM-11AMQualified and interested applicants will find a rewarding career opportunity and superior company paid benefits.
